ON THE PLUS SIDE

KuKirin G2 Master strengths

  • Dual 1,000 W motors give the scooter a clear traction and hill-climbing brief.
  • The 52 V, 20.8 Ah battery supports a manufacturer-rated range of up to 70 km.
  • Front and rear disc brakes are paired with electronic braking.
  • Hydraulic suspension, a large display, and three speed levels make the performance intent clear.
  • At 33.1 kg, it is heavy but not extreme for a dual-motor performance scooter.

KuKirin G2 Master compromises

  • A 60 km/h rated top speed is illegal on many paths and may make the scooter unusable on your intended public route.
  • The 33.1 kg weight makes stairs, buses, and car loading a planning issue.
  • The 7–8 hour charging estimate demands a secure place to charge.
  • The rated 70 km range is not a guaranteed commuting range; speed, load, temperature, and terrain change consumption.
  • Regional variants and included accessories can differ, so the listing must be checked carefully.

What the KuKirin G2 Master is for

The G2 Master is not a last-mile scooter for mixed walking and riding. It is a substantial performance platform for riders who value acceleration, higher-speed road use, and dual-motor traction. The two motors and 52 V battery point toward longer, more demanding routes than a basic 500 W commuter.

If your trip is flat, short, and ends with a staircase, the G2 Master's hardware is mostly carrying cost. A lighter single-motor model is likely the more useful tool.

Power is useful only where it is legal and controllable

A 60 km/h maximum speed exceeds common public-path limits for stand-up scooters. It does not matter that the controller offers lower speed levels if local law does not permit the vehicle's power or capability. Check speed, motor, path, helmet, age, insurance, and registration rules before ordering.

On private or permitted land, the dual-motor layout should be treated with the same discipline as a light motorcycle. Progressive acceleration, braking practice, protective equipment, and tyre checks matter more than reaching the listed maximum.

Weight, storage and charging decide daily happiness

The 33.1 kg net weight is within the performance-scooter class but well beyond a casual one-arm lift. The folded height is useful for storage, but the folded dimensions do not make the mass disappear.

A 7–8 hour charge is easiest when the scooter can stay in a secure, ventilated place with a suitable outlet. Follow the manufacturer's charger and temperature guidance. Do not charge a wet battery or leave charging unattended against local safety advice.

Real-world range will be shorter than the headline

KuKirin rates the battery for up to 70 km. Expect consumption to rise with speed, rider and cargo weight, hills, cold weather, acceleration, and tyre pressure. A rider using the upper speed levels should not plan a 70 km loop without a charging plan.

The IP54 rating provides limited dust protection and splash resistance. It does not make the scooter submersible or suitable for pressure washing.

RIDER VERDICT

Verdict: a focused performance scooter with a serious access test

The KuKirin G2 Master earns its dual-motor hardware when grades and permitted high-speed surfaces are part of your routine. Buy it only after checking local law and agreeing with yourself about 33.1 kg of storage and charging. If either answer is uncomfortable, step down to a lighter single-motor scooter.
