H800 vs H880 is not simply front vs rear

H800 and H880 use different hydraulic caliper configurations for different mounting directions and brake layouts. XOD warns against selecting one from left/right wording alone.

The position of the rotor, the direction of the caliper body, and the shape of the fork or swingarm matter. Use the model-specific fitment table and the actual selected SKU before applying a coupon.

Photograph the front wheel

A useful front photo shows the brake-disc side, the caliper or original caliper mount, and the fork structure. Include enough of the wheel and hose route to understand how the hardware sits.

For a G4, XOD's current fitment guide lists H880 at the front and H800 at the rear. Do not transfer that front/rear combination to another model without confirming its own layout.

Photograph the rear wheel and brake-lever connector

Repeat the photo at the rear, showing the disc side, swingarm, caliper mount, and hose route. Then take a close-up of the brake-lever connector and any motor cut-off plug.

A mechanical fit does not prove electrical compatibility. XOD uses a 2-pin waterproof connector on supported configurations, but the selected adapter and the scooter's original wiring must match.

Check the rotor, spacers and existing washers

The H-Series fits 140 mm and 160 mm rotor configurations only where the selected kit and caliper clearance support them. Never add a spacer just because there is room for one.

Keep original washers and mounting hardware where the model-specific guide directs. Check rotor-to-caliper clearance, bracket alignment, and full suspension travel before tightening.

Check the live offer after fitment is confirmed

Check the live price and any current promotion only after the model, version, front/rear caliper configuration, sensor adapter, and included parts are confirmed. A coupon never substitutes for fitment evidence.

Hydraulic brake installation is safety-critical. If you are unsure about alignment, hose cutting, mineral-oil bleeding, or the motor cut-off check, stop and use a qualified mechanic.

RIDER VERDICT

The XOD fitment rule

Send photos of both wheels and the brake-lever connector before ordering. Confirm the exact H800/H880 layout, rotor, spacers, adapter cable, and hardware. A working coupon is useful; a mis-matched brake kit is not.
